The First Responder Wedding of a Police Officer and Nurse
It was a beautiful day in Texas for this first responder wedding. The ceremony took place at the Chapel Creek Ranch in Denton, with the reception to follow at the same venue. There were many things that set this event apart from other weddings, but one thing stood out more than anything else-the bride and groom are first responders!
We first connected with our couple when Ty reached out to our second shooter/cameraman, Eli Mabli of Eli Mabli Photography. Ty was planning on a marriage proposal to be held at the Gaylord hotel where they have a Christmas exhibit full of trees, decorations, etc. Unfortunately, Eli wasn’t able to help Ty because he was already booked but sent this client to us instead.
So Ty contacted White Tiaré Weddings and the rest is history. We were able to provide a combination proposal/engagement session. We reconnected with them a month later and they booked their wedding with us.
The weather was absolutely beautiful with partly cloudy skies and cool but not too cold fall air. Every part of this wedding turned out great even though they had to adapt to a few adjustments like having a substitute day of a wedding planner because the original planner came down with COVID, the BBQ food truck broke down so they ended up with a buffet BBQ alternative instead, and the mother of the groom hired the Spider-Man of Denton to photobomb our groom’s portrait session so we still made it happen and the images turned out great.
And our bride, well, she looked absolutely beautiful in her gown. Her makeup by @tiffanydo_mwah transformed her into the most beautiful bride ever!
